Ella Scott is the author of The Green Gossip, a blog telling local news stories while promoting environment-friendly decisions. She is an aspiring journalist and reporter for her college’s newspaper.
Scott is based in Grand Prairie, Texas, and is a Journalism major at the University of Texas at Arlington. She is driven by her love for the environment and passion for writing. Her favorite things include her Corgi pups, Oakley and Waylon, food, Netflix, and spending time with family.

Why I Write:
“I began blogging, mostly about sustainable brands, after the peak of the pandemic. The rise in online shopping led to more waste and someone needed to inform the public on what companies were eco-friendly. I have a passion for being ‘green’ and a love for writing. I hope to tell real local news and encourage readers to be eco-friendly!“
